Edit the file "UT2004\System\UT2004.ini":
Find the block of "Serverpackages=..." statements and insert
  Serverpackages=ConcussionRifle

The shock rifle should then be replaced by the concussion rifle
at weapon bases, (but not at weapon lockers), when the mutator
is selected for use in a game.

The VCTF translocator mutator should take effect automatically
on all machines that have the three system files installed,
without the need for an edit of the "UT2004.ini" file.

Make sure that the mutators are selected for use when starting
a game, otherwise they might not appear!

Extended description:
--------------------
These maps are intended only as a testing ground for Doctor Evil's
"Concussion Rifle" mutator, which replaces the shock rifle.

The Concussion Rifle mutator is inspired by a video training
module from www.3dbuzz.com, included as DVD 2 in the DVD version
of UT2004.

The maps are also a collection of other experiments, during the
degenerate Doctor's struggles to learn the various features of
Unreal Editor 3.0, (static meshes, elevators, ladder volumes,
physics volumes, vehicle Capture The Flag, etc.).

Effect of the Concussion Rifle Mutator:
--------------------------------------
          Replaces the shock rifle.
There is no change to the appearance of the rifle
or to the alt fire function.

Only the main fire is changed.
Damage is reduced to only 5 units, but
the victim is flung 16 times further away than usual.

However, warp portals do seem to slow a victim down.

It can be entertaining to see a hapless bot flicked
away to the other end of a map or forced way up high
on a wall. Repeated hits can force a victim so high
up a wall that the resulting fall is fatal.

Effect of the VCTF-TL Mutator:
------------------------------
Enables the standard translocator to be used by all
players and bots in a VehicleCTF game.

See the other help file, "Help\VCTF-TL-ReadMe.txt",
          for details.

why bother?
